That was several months ago and now here we are 2 weeks away and I'm stoked. Two years ago some friends asked me to write a small blog during my trip (http://mabbrazil.blogspot.com.br/). I was reluctant, because frankly I can't write, but just for fun I did, and the results floored me. I expected a few followers but didn't see the 5000+ reads coming. Not exactly viral, but for a hick like myself I thought it was kinda cool, and it turned into a coffee table book for a bunch of raving fans (my dime....)
So, I'm going to do it again, but first the disclaimer. Don't expect a literary masterpiece. If that's what you are looking for then go and read Tolstoy, Dickens, or Homer (not Simpson). My language skills bite, and I use words like "cuz", "gunna", and "yur". If you text a lot yur gunna understand. If you don't, well, try follow along and have a chuckle. I write first and foremost for myself, and along the way have the tendency to over emphasize and exaggerate. It's what I do cuz I can, and its my blog.
